Have you ever wished that you had the time to ensure that leaders (at all levels) were fully supported in implementing changes they are responsible for? If you find that this is an aspiration, but the breadth and magnitude of your leadership role gets in the way, then why not consider having an external member of your senior leadership team. It is a cost-effective way of ensuring that change remains on track, and results in high impact across all your priority areas.

How?

By working with your team, I can provide support, advice and guidance that enables them to ensure that the effectiveness in their area of responsibility grows and develops over time. The principles of "follow up, follow through", aligned to "on the job" development of leadership theory and practice are used to drive work forward.

What?

The focus for discussion is always on current school improvement priorities aligned to the evidence of both quality of provision and impact.


I listen, question, challenge and support team members to identify their solutions. I signpost leaders to useful materials and research, and support them in creating documents and materials for communicating and implementing change.

How often?

That's up to you. Once per 'half term' works well, allowing leaders to work on the actions they identified, and assimialte further evidence of impact.


However, you can choose a different interval to suit your school's needs.
